AR Lab and Snapchat Launch Immersive Augmented Reality Iftar Experience for Ramadan

Dubai-based AR Lab, in collaboration with Snapchat, has introduced a groundbreaking Ramadan gift box that blends augmented reality (AR) with the cherished traditions of Iftar.

The beautifully designed package features a crescent-shaped die-cut that unveils a vibrant yellow plate, drawing inspiration from Snapchat’s iconic branding and the Snap Ghost logo. The box also includes a unique ‘Snapcode,’ inviting recipients to scan it and unlock Snapchat’s exclusive AR marker technology. By pointing their smartphone camera at the Snap plate, users can experience virtual renditions of three traditional Ramadan dishes. The dishes come to life on a personalized table mat, complete with descriptions and cultural insights, enhancing the Iftar experience with both innovation and tradition.
