The season begins on December 3, 2025 with a Christmas Gala that embodies the elegance and warmth of the festive season. The evening will gather some of the most celebrated voices of the opera world.

The cultural journey continues in January when Dubai Opera hosts the city’s first staging of Handel’s Tamerlano on January 10 and 11, 2026. This event introduces audiences to a renewed interpretation of Handel’s 1724 masterpiece. Renowned stage director Stefano Poda presents a production where visual artistry and musical storytelling flow seamlessly together. The stage becomes a living environment shaped by light choreography and sculptural imagery creating a contemporary vision of the Baroque world. Complementing this visual language composer Kirill Richter enriches the original score by integrating the colors of traditional Uzbek instruments which infuse the opera with a captivating cross cultural dimension.
