Dubai is set to host the eighth edition of the International Conference on Education Quality, exploring the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance public institutions and education systems. The event, taking place from April 22 to 24, is part of the broader AI Week, with a focus on “AI Innovations: Future Insights in Empowering Public Institutions and Enhancing Education Quality.”
Organized by the General Directorate for Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (GDRFA-Dubai), the conference will bring together researchers, experts, government representatives, tech leaders, and students to discuss AI-driven innovations and their impact on both education and public service sectors.
AI Innovations Driving Transformation in Education and Government
The conference will delve into how AI technologies can revolutionize government services and reshape education, with a particular emphasis on enhancing operational efficiency and promoting smarter, more adaptive educational environments. The event will highlight advancements that contribute to institutional development, student empowerment, and better service delivery through AI.
With more than 200 research papers already submitted from global researchers and university students, the event is expected to draw 400 participants, including AI leaders, educational professionals, and tech companies. Attendees will engage in research presentations, hands-on workshops, and thought-provoking panel discussions led by experts from both the public and private sectors, including tech giants like Microsoft, Dell, and Google.
Spotlight on AI in Education and Government Institutions
One of the main features of the conference will be the panel discussions, focusing on key issues such as AI’s role in enhancing education quality and strengthening government services. One major discussion, titled “Enhancing Major Universities’ AI Capabilities,” will focus on how academic institutions can integrate AI tools to revolutionize teaching and curriculum development, alongside fostering innovation in education.
In addition to the academic presentations, several technology companies will showcase the latest in AI innovations, providing participants with the chance to interact with new tools and smart applications that are reshaping industries and educational institutions globally.
Student Innovations and Research Presentations
The conference will also feature a student innovation segment, where university students will present AI-driven projects aimed at solving real-world challenges. More than 30 student projects have been submitted so far, with the opportunity for additional entries until the end of March. This initiative offers students a platform to showcase their work to a global audience and gain insights from experts in the field.
