In a milestone event for the region’s education sector, Demi Lune Group has officially launched the Shiksak Learning System — a next-generation AI-powered Education Management System (EMS) — at the prestigious Hilton Habtoor Palace Dubai. The launch marks Shiksak’s strategic entry into the UAE’s rapidly advancing education technology market, reinforcing the nation’s role as a global hub for innovation in learning.
According to Al Mudassar News Agency, the grand event was graced by UAE Royalty and top industry figures including His Highness Prince Sheikh Ammar Bin Salem Bin Majed Al Qassimi, his advisor HE Dr. Mohamed Saeed Al Abd Al Masoorori, and Major of Police Dr. Saleh Jumah Mohammed Belhaj Al Marasdeh. The launch was led by Dr. Moon Mukherjee, Chairwoman of Demi Lune Group, along with the DLE team who were instrumental in orchestrating the event.
Mr. Nandan Roy, CEO of Shiksak, delivered a visionary keynote on the platform’s mission to revolutionize education delivery through artificial intelligence. “Our goal is to bring the best of AI-powered educational technology to every institution, empowering teachers and inspiring students. Shiksak represents a movement toward future-ready education—personalized, efficient, and globally connected,” said Mr. Roy.
The event featured keynote speeches from Murtaza Sinnarwala, Google Education Solution Manager, who shared insights on AI’s transformative impact on global learning, and Jolvin Rodrigues, Co-Founder of LearningMate, who highlighted the evolution of technology-enabled education. Kohinoor Roy, AI Scientist and Technology Advisor to Shiksak, explored “AI Innovations in Education: The Art of Possibilities,” while Patrick Coodien, Director of QE2 Academy, demonstrated Shiksak’s practical applications in classroom environments.
A Press Conference was also held to outline Shiksak’s long-term roadmap, during which Dr. Moon Mukherjee, Ms. Amina Konate, and Mr. Nandan Roy addressed media queries on behalf of Demi Lune Group, while Mr. Manik Dey and Ms. Kohinoor Roy represented Shiksak. The system’s AI-powered EMS and GPT-based modules were demonstrated live, showcasing their capabilities in automating administrative tasks and personalizing student learning experiences.
The evening concluded with an Awards and Recognition ceremony honoring distinguished contributors to education and innovation, including Murtaza Sinnarwala, Patrick Coodien, Saurav Gupta, Madjiguene Ndiaye, Loveness Chingombe, and Dr. Marica Chrons.
