Not every fashion name in Munich builds its following through shop windows or social media. For years, Iryna Natalicheva’s atelier near Gärtnerplatz has operated largely through introductions and personal recommendations.

Clients came for clothes made with attention to their proportions and preferences, while boutiques in Munich and Tegernsee drew on her experience in collection development. Now the designer is stepping into a more public chapter with tracht N trend, a label that brings her longstanding interest in traditional dress into the world of contemporary Bavarian fashion.

Her route to this moment has been unusually hands-on. Natalicheva trained in sewing and pattern construction and spent years learning the practical demands of fit, fabric and manufacture. She later completed her studies at ESMOD Munich with the highest distinction in 2014; her graduation collection Kavkaz earned the Goldene Nadel. The collection examined how inherited forms of clothing could be transformed without erasing their origins. She has also worked with factories, including Triglav in Slovenia, and developed garments from initial sketch through prototype and production. Bespoke eveningwear and looks for red-carpet occasions form another part of her portfolio.

With tracht N trend, this experience finds a distinctly local subject. Natalicheva’s dresses use the language of Bavarian Tracht, but the decisions behind them are those of an individual atelier: considered lines, precise tailoring and fabrics chosen for the garment rather than a passing trend. Such pieces deserve thoughtful maintenance. Cleaning should follow each garment’s material and decoration, and structured dresses benefit from careful storage; no universal promise of decades-long durability can replace proper care.

At Oktoberfest 2026, the designer appeared alongside Anna Stukkert, international media entrepreneur and founder of Congress Awards, who wore Natalicheva’s work and represents the label as a client and ambassador.
At the Marstall gathering, Lidia Weber of Oliver Weber Collection wore LanaGraff Couture and jewellery from her brand, while event organizer and international networker Alyona Iakymchuk and Red Line Cosmetics founder Sabina Farruku added perspectives from business and beauty.
Maybach Taxi München by KOMPASS supported the occasion as premium mobility partner. For Natalicheva, the evening marked a shift from quiet atelier reputation to a label with a wider audience, without abandoning the craft that built it.
