His Highness Sheikh Abdulhakim Al Maktoum joined the assembled representatives for a simultaneous ribbon cutting, a moment OBS Global described as a world-record achievement for the number of nationalities represented in a single synchronized ribbon-cutting ceremony. The organization has not indicated whether the feat has been formally verified by an official records authority.
The celebration continued with a cake-cutting ceremony, a branded horse presentation, and a series of speeches outlining the vision behind One Business Season, which organizers framed as the start of an extended season of cross-border business collaboration rather than a single standalone event.
The launch drew extensive media attention, with interviews and coverage captured at the event's dedicated media wall throughout the evening.
