Saudi Stocks Close Higher as Tadawul All Share Climbs 1.09% on Broad Sector Gains

Investors watch a Tadawul market summary screen in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia’s stock market closed higher on broad-based buying, with the Tadawul All Share Index climbing 1.09% as gains spread across multiple sectors rather than concentrating in a single pocket of the market.

Advancers heavily outnumbered decliners on the exchange, with 267 stocks rising against just 61 that fell and 24 that ended the session unchanged, a breadth of participation that points to a genuinely broad rally rather than a narrow, index-skewing move.

Agriculture & Food, Cement, and Media & Publishing led the market higher, sectors that don’t typically move in lockstep, reinforcing how widely the gains were distributed across the Tadawul on the day.

Individual standouts were led by Raydan Food Company, which surged 9.97%, followed by Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati for Bookstores, up 7.69%, and Armah Sports Co, which gained 6.69%. On the losing side, Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance fell 3.94%, Saudi Aramco Base Oil Company dropped 2.58%, and Al Moammar Information Systems slipped 1.80%.

The rally in Saudi equities came alongside a mixed session in commodity markets. Crude oil futures for November delivery fell 1.73% to $91.26 a barrel, while Brent crude for December edged up 0.46% to $102.72 a barrel. Gold futures for December slipped 0.72% to $4,172.10 per troy ounce, a divergence between the Gulf’s largest equity market and the broader commodity complex that underscores how domestic sector rotation, rather than any single oil-price move, was driving Saudi stocks on the day.
